I wrote it not long ago in a typical setting: sitting by the window, gazing at the sky, letting clouds carry feelings on the waves toward stranded words on the beach, where I find myself lost in deep thoughts.
The wind chases the clouds,
leaving them like a slow-moving river
across the azure sky.
Through the window,
deserted feelings hunt for lost words.
Swaying leaves cast beautiful silhouettes
against unknown dwellings.
The drift of melody through the valley
carries wandering thoughts.
A loner sinks into a reverie.
